Birthday GIrl

Mandy had her First birthday and what a great participate! We had 12 cousins come plus two other friends. We did a Lady bug themed party with a "pin the dot on the Lady bug" and Find the lady bug in the pile of leaves (we had 5 piles of leaves around the yard and hid two small bean bag bugs in two different piles. It was fun watching everyone dig through them HA HA.

Grandma and Grandpa Anderson made a surprise visit up it was so good to see them!

At presents time Mandy did such a great job i didn't even have to help her open the gifts she just ripped at them right away. Her favorite was a soft plush baby grandma Anderson gave her...

Then the cake. She shoved that cake in her mouth without hesitation it was so darn cute! I made her lady bug cake it took a good hour to finish since i was also working on cutting out the butterfly and flower sandwiches and jigglers. Everyone had fun and i cannot believe she is the big ONE!

We got her one year pictures today. My little girl just doesn't like to smile for the camera lady. She looks at her like she is the biggest tard! i think its funny ... eventually we got some smiles after i coaxed her a bit!

Holidays

Well we are finally going into the holidays! how exciting! Christmas is my favorite holiday and this Thanks giving will be Mandy's first "real" one.

Mandy is taking steps but she likes to be lazy. She says Momma, Dadda, boo, uh-oh, hi and she loves to scream when you chase her.

Kate she is just growing so tall. She loves to sing and dance and princess is what she likes to be called.

Both Mike and I are still in school and keeping really busy with that. No more updates for now i will post pictures of mandy's birthday as soon as we have it.

life

well, life has just gone haywire.... not much is predictable anymore, especially now since mike will be starting school again this coming week.

It seems that i have had some bad luck lately... The explorer broke down on me, the washer broke down on me all in the same week, then i got a speeding ticket.. i am not too upset about this one though because it has been 7 years and a dozen pull overs and i hadnt recieved any speeding ticket so i figured it was time to pay my dues ;)

mandy is walking along couches and says dadda, she waves and she loves to tackle you with her nose crinkled up... kate is doing so well she is 3 1/2 and she traces letters really well and can even draw an O, A H and T and E all on her own. she loves to sing especially the mandy moore song only hope she requests it at least once a day...

i am getting involved in a new university called neuvo riche which will bring up the income by alot.. yeah.. hope all goes well with that... its marketing and realestate... anyway... thats the update i have for now.

Well so far June has been a very busy month for us. It seems we have been away every weekened at someones bbq, baby shower, or birthday party. Every tuesday except the last 2 i have been going down to Sis in laws to take care of her and her girls she is Pregannt with twin girls and I had to show a picture of her because i cant imagine having a belly that huge... so cute!

Me and the girls have been going to the pool and mandy loves it. Kate does good too she loves going with ehr cousins. I love it because i finally can get a tan!




Kates dance turned out to be a disaster. The class was combined with the older class and the teacher told us that she doesnt have the patience for anyone under tha age of 5. So i was PO'D


demanded my money back. It didnt seem that kate minded too much though. She really didnt want to leave my side and perhaps we will try next year with a different sport like soccer or something.





Mandy crawled YEAH!!! june 21st she finally figured out how to push forward instead of backwards. She wanted her little puff treats and she did the belly army scoot forward... and it was no fluke because she keeps doing it now even getting her knees involved once in a while.





Mike is still busy with work. I have been hearing such scary stories of architecture and schooling that I hope we are strong enough to get through these last few years... oh boy.





I decided i would continue with my education plan. In the fall i will be continuing my bachelors in multi media Communications.

Ghost Hunting

Ok so this was a VERY fun Girls night out. My mother, and sisters Carolyn and Alicia, my Nieces' Mother Fawn and Me all went out to see Made Of Honor in theatres and that was such a good chick flick. After, we hit Wendys and then the Cemetary searching for Ghosts....

At first we were brave enough to be out of the car just snapping Photos everywhere. After about the first 4 pictures we got spooked and instead took pictures from in the car. We would take pictures when we felt the "feeling" and sure enough Orbs galore... some are brighter then others but it was pretty cool... some pictures had none in them... we didnt get any evil feelings so we think they are at peace just hanging out... pretty crazy...

Mandy crawls backwards and gets frustrated because she so desperately wants to crawl forwards. she is 7 months tomarrow so exciteing and sad at the same time.

Kate will be starting dance class on monday and she is Doing well not wetting the bed at night.

Mandy is starting to eat real people food... like marshmallows LOL i just let her try it one time... it was so cute i caught it on film.

ROTAVIRUS

The worst thing to happen to my baby! I dont know how, could be the gym daycare or the shopping carts but somehow mandy contracted it. It started last saturday she didnt look very good, it looked as though she was sick. her cheeks were all pink and her temp was 99.9 never got over that though. She was sleeping alot and didnt feel like eating her food. a few days before her nose was really runny and so i thought all of this was just her teething.

THEN the diarehha started Sunday. she had no fever slepped great saturday night and looked so much better but the runny stools... then monday it got worse. She has a yeast infection on top of it all I really have no clue how...

so here it is friday and my baby has a bad ear infection (the Dr. said that 2 days ago and today said it looked like it was getting better) her yeast cant go away while she is taking anitbiotics for her ear, and her butt looks bruised from all the acid in her stool. SO
I beg each and everyone of you who have infants to get them vaxed against the ROTAVIRUS there is a small window between 2 months and 9 months. I had no idea they even had a vax for it but my dr. told me today they did but once you get it you are immuned. So many will be safe from now on.. so get your babies vaxed so you dont have to go throught his terrible ordeal...

luckily i have been able to keep her hydrated she doesnt drool at all (she was a fountain before) but her mouth is still moist so we havnt had to hospitalize her ... and this thing lasts anywhere from 3-14 days. Pray for a speedy recovery and no more stinging on her bum!

Horray for Summer!

Mike graduated last friday YEAH! we are half way done with his schooling. He was working hard on all his projects and Now his challenge is figuring out what to do with his time and which classes to sign up for in the fall.

Kate and Mandy are so beautiful and they keep me busy all the time. Mandy loves attention and she has been ill with infections all around. She still manages to smile with her big fat cheeks.

Kate is a bargening queen. When i try to put her to bed at night she tells me to play with her hair before she closes her eyes. She loves watching Dora and dancing. We are putting her in dance starting in June. I am so excited for that. I hate how my babies grow so fast. Mandy is 6 months old this week and she is such a joy.

Me I am trying to figure out ways to enjoy the summer on a VERY low budget. I know God works miracles in our lives because i honestly know we couldnt make it through school without him.

We love our little home and hope to accomplish some projects with our tax rebate... I will let you know more updates soon.

California

well, Me and the girls went to southern California for a little over a week, it was so much fun. The weather was beautiful and we were'nt ready to leave. Mike had to stay behind because of his schooling...

In California we went to the renaissance fair which was pretty cool . I made our dresses and everyone gaulked over how cute Kate was and what a beautiful little princess.... a pirate even gave her a ring...

We stayed with my dad and enjoyed many nights in his new Jacuzzi, we only went to the beach once, Mandy loved the sand but hated the water... she isn't much of a bath person so i didn't think she would like the ocean... maybe next time...

Kate is 3 now and potty trained YEAH! she is so smart and is quite the parrot... i understand how bad the word STUPID is once you here it from a toddler. she does so many cute things i cant remember all of them. She tries to bargain with you which i think is so funny, especially at bedtime.

Mandy sits up on her own and has the biggest smiles... right now she has croup and when she cries it sounds like a whisper... it is sad and cute.

Me, i am getting back into school. I am signed up to take 2 classes this fall on my way to complete my bachelors.

Mike, well he has been accepted in the masters program at the U and thank heavens only 2 more years through this but i here it is worth it. I told him i get to go on a ten day cruise when he is finished!

well that is all that is happening in our lives thus far. I will try to remember to update this more often.
